I just installed an H70 in my i5 2500k build.

I was idling between 32 to 40 degrees, and stressing the cpu brought it to 70 really fast.

Now idle is 25 to 35, and I can't get this thing to go over 50 at heavy loads.

Me like. :headbang:

This is what I have and it's the best sealed system I have used

I have tried the Corsair H70 and sent it back to newegg. I have my i5-760 Over clocked to 3.38 and run at about 31C idle and peak at 56C during Handbreak HD Encoding. I am using two fans on it tho in a push pull set up

i have the h60 in my machine, is great great ;)))

cold cold, 30 c in idle and 25

Using a Corsair H50 unit here on my core i7 970 (rated for 3.2GHz). Can run it at around 4.25GHz with no ill effects at around 61°C under a full load. (Tested with Prime95 torture test, 12 threads at once...)

I was getting about 87°C using a massive air cooled aluminum/copper block with dual fans before upgrading to the H50.

I'm running an h70 as well and am over clocked to 4.2 ghz on my i7 950 with HT on.

Full load in the mid 70's idle in the mid 30's. Computer is oh so fast and oh so reliable.
