Screen freezes and getting message "You need to power down"

Hi all

The problem I'm facing is as described in the thread topic. I've posted my build and other questions in this thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=37486

From the above thread, I assume that the problem lies with my GPU. And from the above thread, I'm actually not getting any KPs. Just screen freezes with no message or with "....power down..." message.

But my question now is: How do I know for sure that it is my GPU that is causing the problem and not caused by other hardware or drivers or missing drivers?

Is there a way to check?
