Saving Files on SSD, but Waits for HDD to Spin Up

Hi Everyone,

I have a dual boot machine but usually use OS X. I notice that sometimes, if I am saving a file or doing something that is on my SSD (boot drive), my computer has a delay and I hear the HDD (storage) spinning up. It's not a major issue, but just more of an annoyance. I was wondering if anyone has a similar issue, and I was wondering why this happens. Any input is appreciated!

Go to Energy Saver settings and uncheck "Put hard disks to sleep when possible".

Hey guys i cannot get back into my osx but i get back into windows fine. Is there anyway i can paRtions my ssd through my mac book and redo the installation.
