SATA support

Hi all, I wondered if it existed a native SATA support on 10.6...
I used to use AppleVIAATA modified kext to get my Hard drive and DVDROM drive recognized under Leopard. Is there the same kind of trick to play on Snow Leo or something?

Again, no hardware details, but if you've got a VIA chipset motherboard, then you're **** out of luck for native support.

And FYI, this forum is for P55 boards, not other kinds of hardware...

Actually the funny thing is that the kext works with leopard but not on snow even in -x32 mode

Well, that's not a VIA board, you should be using Intel drivers, or as per the other thread, a DSDT for your board.
