hi,
I have installed the controller with 2 SSD (OWC+OCZ) both showing SATA speed 6gb/s but speed test showing very low results even lower then sata 2...
I have installed MB5
my MB is Asus P6R WS PRO , I am using the second PCIe X16 slot.
how can i fix that?
can it be in the DSDT file?

just connect ur sata to other socket and u will be good to go. I also had the same problem but when i did this.. things went well

well the controller have 2 ports only and i have already 2 SSD's connected...both showing SATA 6 speed but testing results are slower, i have tried the second PCIe slot but same results. the controller connected to PCIe X16

What is your AJA bench score ? I am also is using the ASM1061 PCIe card and installed Intel 330 60GB SSD on it and this is my AJA bench result. The Intel 330 60GB is not that fast but getting more than 300MB/s for both read and write seems acceptable for me.

Hi tot

my reading with AJA showing 370/360 , i dont know if i can count on this tool because the reading on my RAID volume is lower than with blackmagic, blackmagic show high reading on the RAID volume (SAS drives). . .

A lot of people ihat are using blackmagic are getting low scores. You can use xbech too. My Raid0 score on AJA.

I just installed this card with a Sandisk extreme. I'm getting 180 read and write. Obv something is wrong I'm getting faster speeds on my Sata 2 Samsung that's hooked direct to my mobo. I attached the pcie card to the very top slot above my graphics card on my ud4p

Try to install it into the blue slot instead of white. That is what I did. I installed my ASM1061 PCIe card into a x16 slot (blue) instead of x1 slot (white). I just made a SSD RAID0 and Mountain Lion does have TRIM support for RAID0.

Hi there I bought the ASM1061 card to work with my Agility 3 ssd disck, and i get low speed rate with it.
My main board is a Asus P5E Deluxe and osx 10.7.5
I´m have Hakintosh quite a while..
The ASM1061 is working in the second
PCIe 2.0 x16 slot (on start up,bios shows that i'm using PCI 2 generation__SATA 3)
I have already installed 3party driver from latest Mulibeast and activate de trim suport.
After this i continue to get low speeds from Alility 3.

Hi,
Having recently purchased an ultra-fast Samsung 840 Pro 128GB SATA III SSD on Amazon despite having only SATA II ports on my motherboard [P5Q-E], I finally decided to drop a few bucks on a this PCIe SATA III card to take greater advantage of the speeds the drive is capable of.

Now with Blackmagic Disk Test split out 340/388 MB/s, do not know if this is acceptable for my combo SSD-PCIe2.0-P5QE-Q9550

(...) i get low speed rate with it (...)
You need to check if you have PCIe ver 2.0, or if you have any other PCIe cards on your motherboard[ie. USB on PCIe v1.0 x1], as this can slow down ASM1061.
