Sapphire Rapids is officially out

@etorix any suggestions on why is this coming up? This is on Monterey already installed on NVME.

Intel ixl and Mellanox mlx5 drivers have appeared in macOS 13.3.1(a)!
If you can eventually boot the WS W790E-SAGE, there's a fair chance of getting the onboard X710-AT2 to work.
Just ordered the ASRock version of it to see if the ACPI is as screwed up on it as Asus version. Asus knows that they have problems, seems like they don’t care.

So I guess you're still stuck in hackintoshing the WS W790E-SAGE, possibly also with issues in Windows and/or Linux (that would probably provide a better incentive for Asus to fix issues), and have had some bad experience dealing with their customer support. :(

Asus support actually tells you to stay away from Linux for now, ie they know that they board got problems. I just want to see if the problem is in the ACPI or it’s much deeper than that.

I was surprised to see Asus boards coming first to the market, rather than Supermicro. (X13SRA-F begins to appear right now…)
Maybe Asus went too fast.

I’ve got a feeling they did, eager to be first they’ve released half baked board. It’s a great board, if I can I’d love to use it but even windows feels sluggish, slow.

Today, a German overclocker posted a video taken in January of this year about the W9-3495X processor. Geekbench 5 performance was 1600/54000 points. It's just crazy! 4.2 for all 56 cores, 1.000v, just under one kilowatt of consumption. And then, he showed today's test in cinebench R23, where the same processor scored 70,000 points, but without manual overclocking, since according to the reviewer, he received memory and cooling kits only today and everything is done in a hurry. The processor worked at a frequency of 2.9 GHz for all cores.
Getting closer and closer to release! Very exciting!

HOW? 112THREADS? 64 limit is gone? @EVILGENIUS and I been struggling for almost a week to get in running.

Never mind just noticed that its Windows.
