I recently upgraded my hackintosh to Lion. Everything seems working fine except my Sapphire Radeon HD5770 1GB DDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card (100283-3L) is identified as "ATI Radeon HD 5000 1024 MB" in "About my mac". But I don't really see anything wrong with my display.

So, is this a problem? if yes, how do I fix it?

thanks.

Insert in your com.apple.boot.plist located in Extra folder:
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>

you can also with multibeast and the vga is recognized correctly

It's already set to "Yes" ... And I prefer to use DVI since it has much better display quality than vga.

thanks for the help though.

the flag got nothing to do with what u ask ,and its totally fine for ur card to be recognized as 5XXX series card ,what u should worry about if ur device/vendor id or ur vram amount are different than ur card which rarely happens.
i find it weird though 'it got nothing to do with u' that u can use the GE=yes because i have a 5850 card and this flag makes the fan goes crazy  .
