Hi,

As the title describes my GPU is not being identified properly by the computer. I am using a Gigabyte z68-ud3h-b3 mobo, with mac pro 3,1 system definition. Has anyone else noticed this problem? Any suggestions? I have thought to edit the applegraphicspowermanagement so it can identify the card, but have been unable to find info for mac pro 3,1 in the info plist. I did this for iMac 12,1 definition for 10.7.3 when my gpu's open gl was not working.

On a more positive note, I tested my 6850 for open cl with the Luxmark app and it is now working(it was not working under 10.7.4).

However I have lost 700 points on my geek bench score. Not sure why this is the case.

I am currently running a Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 with the Mac Pro (3,1) system definition. However, my graphics card is recognized correctly.

So unfortunately, I'm not sure what's wrong in your case.

Yes Ive used multi beast, with the custom DSDT for the f12 version of the MOBO. Installing that also installs the latest Chimera.

My sapphire 6850 is working perfectly, didn't do anything out of the ordinary except I didn't do the whole messing with the kext for the install. Just swapped an old 8400gs in for install then swapped my 6850 back in after.

Wolfster could you share your mutibeast selections? : )
