It's late, but want to throw out my success.

Build:
intel i7 2600k
gigabyte z68 mobo (i'll edit the post w/ the exact model another day, it's late)
2x 2GB Corsair Vengeance DDRIII RAM
SAPPHIRE 100314-2SR 6870 Graphics

I have OSX Lion installed using tonymacx86's guide - installed Lion over Snow Leopard 10.6.8 (don't forget to run InstallHelper to go from 10.6.7 to 10.6.8 - but this is a different topic).

Anyway, I bought a Mini Displayport + USB to HDMI Female Adapter from Monoprice.com - so I could use my Macbook Pro w/ an external display.

It looks like this:
http://www.monoprice.com/products/produ ... 1&format=2

I bought mine before Thunderbolt was released (back in 2010) - so when I bought it - it was purely a miniDP + USB to HDMI. I do not know if they made any changes to this adapter to accomedate Thunderbolt.

I decided to try it w/ my hackintosh :)

Dual Display and HDMI Audio confirmed on my build on
10.6.7
10.6.8 (did not have to run Multibeast for the rollback driver)
10.7

So the setup:
Main Monitor = Dell SX2210 monitor > HDMI cable > Monoprice MiniDP+USB to HDMI Adapter > Hackintosh
2nd Monitor = Dell 2208WFP > HDMI Cable > HDMI port

I have only tested the MiniDP port that is directly adjacent to the HDMI port on the 6870 card.

Hope this helps people.

I'll update w/ more info, if the admin's tell me what kind of stuff they need, in terms of versions I used (Multibeast etc) - but it's late and my carbon copy just finished, so off to bed.

laterzzzz.
