Was wondering if anyone would happen to know if I would be able to run a Sandy Bridge system on 10.6.3. Need to be able to run AVID Media Composer 5.03 which is only supported up to 10.6.3.

Currently using an i5-2500k with an ASUS Sabertooth P67 board. TIA.

so strange that it must run on 10.6.3

For SNB CPUs, you "should" replace your kernel to a legacy one before 10.6.6 :?

Wrong, you do not need the legacy kernel, you need BridgeHelper, which installs the kernel from the latest update of the SB iMacs.

Is there any particular order I should be doing things. I'm using Andy's Boot CD as specified in one of the other Sabertooth P67 threads and I'm currently at my desktop for the first time after setting up my account. All I see on my screen is the prompt yo set up a non-Mac keyboard.

Should I run the installer that comes with Andy's Boot CD then Bridge Helper or should I just use Multibeast instead? Or should I be running Bridge Helper before Multibeast, etc.? Looking for whatever will give me full functionality of the motherboard in OSX.
