Yup, works perfectly with a fresh install and second (or fifth, really -___-) retry

This way can work with Chimera as well as Chameleon. And you don't have to worry about changing boot file. I am not going to update the opening post yet.

Things I'd like to know is what options do you have set in your BIOS ie did you load optimised defaults. Next question is: throughout the install process what flags did you use, and do you use any flags to boot to desktop now? Did you encounter any KPs or issues with installing MultiBeast System Utilities(My multibeast throws an error if I try System Utilities)
I've gone from:
DMOS starting and then horrible vertical coloured tearing through the console boot output
to now:
DMOS starts then all goes grey with what appears to be the top toolbar flickering and tearing

And I only got to that screen after doing this:
Edit Device Properties in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist to include the followingCode:<key>device-properties</key> <string>600000000100000001000000540000000100000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff04001e00 00004100410050004c002c006f0073002d0069006e0066006f0000001800000030490111111108000001f01f01000000 10070000</string>
Chimera 1.5.x supports the HD2000 but Apple doesn't provide any drivers for it.sasherm13 said:Does this not work with HD 2000? I tried it and end up with a blank/black screen. Basically, I boot the system and get the Apple load screen and when it should take nme to the desktop, it goes black.
