I've been working on a Samsung RV520, so far I followed the usual process for a Clover install of Yosemite. This is from the thread on battery DSDT patching:
I'm using AppleHDA patched for ALC269, of uncertain provenance.
All in all, running pretty good for a machine with a few years going, but any assistance with these two issues is much appreciated!
Going back to the original DSDT, I can add just the [standard battery diff] and I get working battery meter, but it doesn't wake. Same if I add Mutex, the OS label patch and PNOT. Oh and the AC adapter patch. I then checked my original DSDT, extracted with patchmatic, against a Linux extract. There was one minor difference, but no change in the wake behavior using this as a base, with the same tests. I also tried adding HPET and _WAK Arg0 v2 to the mix, but all failed.
It acts the same as if it was going to wake up, except the screen doesn't come on and you can tell the CPU has halted because after a moment the fan starts running faster, even though it's not doing anything.
The other problem with this build is there's no audio after wake (when I leave the battery patch out and wake works). On the off chance you think that's related. And one odd thing is you have to press the power button twice to wake it up.
