Hi guys, I have Samsung NP900X3E-A02US laptop (i7-3537U , HD4000, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD) I installed Mojave on it, made DSDT patch for working battery status from here https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-how-to-patch-dsdt-for-working-battery-status.116102/ generated ssdt for my cpu and everything works fine other then sleep and AC power detection in battery status. After sleep I see only the black screen. Wifi led doesn't go up. All the files are attached

Thank you, Dmitry

For battery status, refer to the guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-how-to-patch-dsdt-for-working-battery-status.116102/
(eg. use ACPIBatteryManager.kext)

And for screen backlight control, refer to this guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ontrol-using-applebacklightfixup-kext.218222/

Also, best to start with an appropriate plist from the guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Your kextcache output proves kexts are not installed correctly.
All kexts you need must be installed to the system volume.
Read post #2 of the Clover guide for details:

Thank you, RehabMan. I reinstalled Clover from here https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/clover/downloads/ , installed ACPIBatteryManager.kext from here: https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-acpi-battery-driver/downloads/ , FakeSMC.kext from here: https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-fakesmc-kozlek/downloads/ and put all the kexts into /L/E . There was no problems with the backlight control, so I did nothing regarding it. With my config.plist I still have the same problems: everything works fine, except the battery status icon doesn't show AC adapter connection/disconnection and the system doesn't wake up after sleep. Just the black screen. The closest config I found in the guide above is this one: config_HD4000_1600x900.plist With this config the system doesn't boot (see attached picture)
The new report files are attached.
Regards, Dmitry

In debug_27395.zip, your config.plist is not from the guide.
Do not use Clover's config.plist switching feature.
Your kexts/Other is not per guide.
You may need to use OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi instead of AptioMemoryFix-64.efi (as written in the guide).
Don't forget about guide advice regarding installing kexts and ForceKextsToLoad (not to be used for post-install config.plist)

I replaced AptioMemoryFix-64.efi to OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi. Then I renamed config_HD4000_1600x900.plist to config.plist and had to chang ig-platform-id to 0x01660009 in it otherwise the system crashed during booting. I also removed extra kexts from kexts/Other. The problems are still exists. Report files are attached.

0x01660004 works for most 1600x900 or 1920x1080, but not all... as you discovered and is mentioned in the guide, some Ivy laptops need 0x01660008 or 0x01660009.

Also you should check in Windows to see if your Samsung uses eDP (it is not uncommon for Samsung), since eDP is not well supported.

You did not implement backlight control.
Guide is linked from the FAQ:

I checked the connection in windows. It is eDP. I fixed backlight control. It does not affect the problems. Still no ac detection and no wake up from sleep. On 10.11 there were no problems like this.
New report files are attached.

eDP is not well supported, especially in the HD4000 drivers.

I got it, thank you. The thing, that is still not clear to me is how poor support of eDP affects waking from a sleep and especially battery status ac detection in 10.14, while in 10.11 everything's fine
Any input would be very much appreciated.
Regards, Dmitry

I thought you were working on backlight control as related to wake from sleep with internal display?
Best to have separate threads for separate topics.
