With your system it is not necessary to replace the Intel HD graphics (HD3000) kexts. So first, make sure you are using the stock kexts.

You may need DSDT patches, see: https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch
Apply "HD3000 Low Resolution"

If using DSDT patches, make sure IGPEnabler=N and GraphicsEnabler=N
