next probs.:

the np-300e5a-a01ub's track pad is "supposed" to be multi touch right? i get it working but i have no gestures and there is no way to turn them on as every time i go to the track pad prefpane it just looks for a bluetooth touchpad.

and

i got an apple airport card but i'm unsure if it will fit in my np300e5a-a01ub.

hey i got the Samsung NP300e5a-a01ub!!!
i got a patched MBR iso of lion
then installed normally to a disk formated with MBR then restored my backup from the GPT version.

but on my pc it finds the OS X HD but when booting it says it cannot find the mach kernel so in chameleon i added the following lines:


<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>

and

<key>UseKernelCache</key>
<string>Yes</string>

this is how my own looks:

then reboot and it should find the mach kernel.

not sure if this is need for other users with this prob but it works for the Samsung NP300e5a-a01ub.

Thx for audio and trackpad kext ! (keyboard too . .).

Just one question if I can,
I've used a mini usb keyboard during installation and system keept that layout so
my numpad doesn't work, have no back slash etc etc . . .

Any ideas ?

deleting /Library/Preferences/com.apple.keyboardtype.plist and reboot wont help me.
Plug an USB keyboard with identical layout of the notebook than asks me about to press
a key near shift but the usb fully work and the integrated stay in trouble . .

Where I can find the correct layout ? which kext ? the appleps2 ?

Ok no way to make the numpad works, it doesnt matters . .
Now looking to elan touch pad modded kext to get mutitouch ... crossfinger
