Anyone here using the Samsung 840 Evo 250GB? Its that drive stable? did you have any lockup with it?

I'm using a 120GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD in mine and it works great, didn't have to do anything special for Mavericks install. (Mobo's SATA controller was supported natively.)

Hi,

Just installed an Evo 250gb SSD into Mavericks on Gigabyte Z77-DS3H, works like a charm and gives 510mb read, between 480mb and 300 mbs write depending on the random writes etc. Much faster than my 64Gb M4 I had.
