Hi!

I have a Samsung 350V5C which I want to install mountain lion on. However. I've been reading up and down on this page to find out if it's possible, and so far the answer is yes or no or maybe.. I don't know, because there's apparently a few different version of this model and mine doesn't seem to been discussed.

Here's the specs for my computer:

CPU Intel Core i5 (3. generasjon) 3210M / 2.5 GHz
Max Turbo-speed 3.1 GHz
Number of corse 2
Buffer L3 - 3 MB
64-bits datahandling Yes
Chipset Mobile Intel HM76 Express
Extra Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0

[h=3]Memory[/h]
RAM 6 GB ( 1 x 4 GB + 1 x 2 GB ) - (Upgradeable to 8GB)
Technology DDR3 SDRAM
Speed 1600 MHz
Number of tracs 2
Empty tracks 0

[h=3]Storage[/h]
HDD 750 GB HDD / 5400 opm
Grensesnitt Serial ATA-300
Optisk stasjon DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM

[h=3]Graphics[/h]
Grafikkprosessor AMD Radeon HD 7730M - 2 GB

I've ordered a 250GB Samsung 840 Evo BK OEM SSD disc and new memory bricks and since I like osx over windows and I have to install everything again I thought I'd give it a try. But is it a waste of time?

You won't know until you try. See here:http://www.tonymacx86.com/laptop-compatibility/106791-laptop-compatibility.html

And, yes, you will waste plenty of time :)
