S.M.A.R.T. Monitoring tools

I came across these these GPLed "SMART Monitoring" programs:
- SMARTReporter
- smartmontools + GSmartControl (installable from FinkProject)
Anybody using these ?

I used to use SMARTReporter but stopped as all it gave was traffic light status red or green. I use iStat Menus 2.0 in it's place as it adds a lot more capabilities.

I use smartmontools all the time on my Linux boxes. I have it installed via MacPorts on my MacBookPro and use the command line.

Is GSmartControl a X-Windows app?

Dunno, and as I use MacPorts too (not Fink), I haven't installed it yet...
It's in the TODO list to download and build it
