RX580 - Do I still need to have internal graphics as startup

I'm on High Sierra 10.13.4, can I now boot directly from the eGPU or do I still need to use the IntelGraphicsFixup kext and hack in Clover to enable hardware acceleration?

I have my IGP disabled and boot directly from the RX 580, with no RadeonDeInit, Framebuffer injection or IntelGraphicsFixup.kext.

What SMBIOS do you use?

Thanks for your reply. I'm on iMac18,3.
I disabled the iGPU in the bios, removed kexts and all works as it should.

Edit....
I had to re-enable the iGPU as I could not export any clips without an error in FCPX
