Greetings,

I was running Mojave on my iGPU (Intel HD 2500) as you can see on the screenshot of "About This Mac" window, however I wasn't very satisfied with the performance so I went on and got myself a GT 710 2GB DDR3 which is running on Kepler 2.0.

Even though GT 710 should be supported OOB on 10.14, I'm somehow having troubles getting past the first screen after selecting to boot into OS X from clover.

I have also included a screenshot of the verbose screen AND the whole UEFI folder, my config is also posted & updated on my profile

  • If your BIOS Initial Display is set to use PCIE then the only problem I could see for the verbose boot Graphics related freeze is with config.plist_Graphics.
  • Please check the uploaded annotated images for a fix.

Thanks cmn699 for the reply! However, I tried your fix, same issue sadly. :/

EDIT: I added my BIOS Graphics Config screenshot.

EDIT: I added my BIOS Graphics Config screenshot.
  • In BIOS, DISABLE Internal Graphics. ( currently set to Auto)
That should also Disable Internal Graphics DVMT Pre-allocated RAM ( should verify to make sure)

edited to add : Annotated BIOS_Chipset screen shot

Apologies for forgetting about that part, after disabling internal graphics I'm still running into the same issue. :/

(Also the rest of the menu including DVMT Pre-allocated RAM are now gone after disabling the internal graphics, making sure that it is actually disabled).

EDIT: After waiting for few minutes on the same screen, I got those messages aswell. Not sure if they can be any help but no idea, better be careful than sorry.

If you have your NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 2GB attached to HDMI of your Monitor and BIOS as shown and CLOVER as already uploaded, the only other question I have, is your card XFX Brand known to have issues?

I see NO ominous signs on the Verbose boot uploaded. Normal progression seen so far.

I have attached it from hdmi to hdmi and yet no progress, I haven't seen people talking about issues related to my card.

Any other solutions?

EDIT: Small update, restarted the thing and it's been over fourteen minutes on this screen.

I can send you an EFI to replace your's from a Closer MoBo( GA-H61M-HD2) with same Nvida Gt 710 2GB from MSI.

See if that would help

Thanks a lot! Finally managed to boot into my macOS using my GT 710! However I seem to be having a slight issue, I'm feeling that my display is too bright and I've got this small flickering white space at the bottom right of my screen..

EDIT: I've tried running OpenGL extensions viewer and I somehow can't find my GT 710? I've attached a picture indicating the issue.

EDIT 2: The dock has a white background, apparently hardware acceleration is off?
