running catalina on clover 5108 - is there a benefit to updating clover?

Hi - Im usually of the school thats says "if it aint broke dont fix it" however Im wondering what I might be missing by not updating clover?....

If Clover 5108 is working good for you I see no reason to change it.

About the only reason I can see to upgrading Clover will be if you need to run a newer MacOS.

Most of the changes to Clover after r5108 where to do with supporting Intel 9th and 10th Gen systems and adding Open Core code extensions to support Big Sur.

I'm still running Clover r5107 on all my Catalina systems .... so my advice would be to stick with what you have now until your ready to update to Big Sur at which time i would recommend you migrate your boot loader to Open Core.
