Rules on modifying kexts.

What are the rules here about discussing the modifications of kexts?
I have one old faithful kext for my ethernet that has worked for many versions of osx but won't work in Mojave.
I don't want to start a thread if it's against the rules.

Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.
