Just a quick thought

Have you tried RTGNICv2.0.6For10.7

It is for the RTL8169.

You can download this kext from the Realtek driver site.
(It is also called Realtek Gigabit Ethernet 2.06 which was in multibeast the last time I looked)

My Linksys EG1032 Gigabit Network Adapter uses the 8169
(I did have to add my device ID inside the kext for my network card)

Hello RehabMan,

I am digging out this old topic to find out if this was resolved.

I am trying to use a Realtek 8169SC based Ethernet PCI card on a hackintosh under High Sierra with Clover.

I tried with your RTL8111 kext embedded in Multibeast High Sierra in L/E: No success, extension not loading.

I then tried with Mieze's version in L/E: still no success, extension not loading.

I made the assumption (may be wrong) that the RTL8169 series is the equivalent of the RTL8168 but for PCI instead of PCIe. Therefore I took the version 2.2.1 of your RealtekRTL8111 kext and edited the plist replacing 8168 by 8169.

After installing the modified kext properly (chmod, chown, rebuilt caches etc.), the extension loads properly (verified in SystemInfo) but the system still does not recognize the Ethernet card.

Here is the card info:
Vendor ID: 10EC
Device ID: 8169
Sub ven ID: 10EC
Device ID: 8169
Sub dev ID: 10EC

Thank you in advance for your advice,

Jean-Eric
