Which should be used, the hardware one, the one displayed from the hackintool or the one created? I have three options. thx.

you need to find the one from your Ethernet Mac address... can be found in bios or windows sometimes written in manual like this 1b:69:7a:6f:e0:ad= Mac rom Address would be > 1B697A6FE0AD

Yes I have all three, my question was which one is best to be used? but wouldn't the rom have to be configured to point to a apple manufacturer?

I don't think it really matters as long as it conforms to the correct format. For preference, on my machine i use the one that is from my Ethernet address (which is real).

I was asking because I was following the dortania post install guide and don't want to get conflicting info. https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/universal/iservices.html#choose-a-mac-address
it says "that corresponds to a real Apple, Inc. interface." have yet to go online with it fixing little things here and there before. still working the usb mapping, but it's not recognizing the usb3/c ports.
