ROG Maximus XI Hero BIOS settings

Hi i switch my HW to an ROG Maximus XI Hero and can‘t boot in macOS.

I set the BIOS as described here but it will not work.


- Load Optimized Defaults

- Primary Display: PCIE (iMac Pro 1.1)

- Legacy USB Support: Disabled

- XHIC Hand-Off: Enabled

- Launch CSM: Disabled

- OS Typ: Other

I have the exact same motherboard as you, and it works amazingly well. Can you attach your EFI folder? (Don't forget to remove the Serial Number under the SMBIOS tab.)

Where in the Bios is Serial Port Configuration? I'm already looking like crazy!

Now it works.

Only USB is not recognized.

How did you do this?

Hello i've got the same MB. I've downgrade bios to 0805, do the same things in the bios and Replace my EFI with yours and i'm already blocked at pci configuration end.... have you already encounter this problem ??

Is not perfect but it works.

USB ports only work with USB 2 device, only the two USB 2 ports detect all devices

Can you take screenshot of your bios settings ? Is it always 0805 version ? I test you config.plist this night chen the childs are sleeping.
When i test the last Time i pass the pci configuration end but i've got black screen when normaly the apple appears... i reply after my night test.

For the usb, i have to use only the usb 2.0 port ? It's what you say ??
Do you think the black screen is because i use the hdmi port of my rx580 and not display port? I don't have DP cable...
