Life is so cruel sometimes, she survived a plane crush and few years later died due to surgery complications(leukemia)...

Her blog is gone now, I'm glad that you posted this so I know what happened. (My electric was out for 6 days so just now getting to read this.)

Which plane crash was she in? Was it one that I could look up on the news on a commercial flight or was it in a little Cesna or something?

With great sadness I learned at http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chameleon/source/changes/2037/ that one of my heroes Samantha had passed away.
Her blog at revogirl.wordpress.com had been deleted, and her posts at insanely-mac.com as dutchhockeypro (DHP) and RevoGirl had also been deleted, but her posts as Time2Retire still exist.
Knowing her, she would be very upset that her work, thoughts and feelings, had been erased from the internet as if she had never existed.
Pike or Master Chief, do the right thing and restore what was deleted, so that her words may live on.

Google's cache has many of the wordpress pages, but some are missing, here's what I could salvage (Samantha_revogirl.wordpress.com.zip);
