Don't believe we have that.

And scratch the need for DSDT's.

Of course we have. And these technologies are turned on in the framebuffer.

Open info.plist and you'll see.
I have 4530s with ATI graphics, w/o finger scaner, 3 Gb of mem. (now 4+4) and with Linux. Sorry, i don't remember model number :)

I was wondering mostly ATI or not.

But info.plist in appleintelSNBgraphicsfb?

I had this graphic problem...
After i put 2x2 GB of ram and repair the disk permissions via Disk Utilities, the graphic and freezing had stopped...

So try only repairing the permissions don't bother changing the ram, if that works no need for the ram thing...

Did you try to use your laptop with 2x4GB of RAM?
