Request help you need to restart your computer: X58A-UD7

Hello.. i have used tonymac to method to install on all my computer,,however with this config
i am doing in a fresh install.

1)i7 930
2)Board Gigabyte: X58a-UD7
3) Ram ADATA 2000g or Kingston all give the same error.
4)VGA: ATI 4870

no other cards or usb plugged.
latest iboot i am using.. i have both 10.6.0 and 10.6.3 retail disk all give same.

my sata and hdd are conncted on the blue ports. 0 and 1.
i have tried from bios f5-f8 all give same problem.. can any one help please.

Try with iBootLegacy for unsupported gpu and cpu

Alternate method - install with a supported graphics card

yes it worked when i changed the vga to 9500Gt.. but isnt' 4870 supposed to work out of the box ?

Depends on how close your card is to "reference design". If yours won't boot with the Chameleon ATI bootloader from hard drive, try booting with the nVidia card and installing the exotic patch drivers in MultiBeast under graphics for the ATI HD4xxx cards. You will need the injector and the patch for the SL version you are running. If you have updated to 10.6.7 already you need to go to netkas.org or kexts.com and see if you can find a 10.6.7 for your 4870 to download.
