Replacing graphics card

Hi,
I'm looking at replacing my graphics card from the GeForce Gt240 to a XFX Radeon HD 5870 card which is working ok, but it's lags a bit on some programs like Logic Pro.

My question is, how difficult would it be to change graphics card within OSX?

Would it be a case of swapping the cards, running MultiBeast and installing the ATI drivers or would I have to do a complete rebuild from scratch?

i think its better if you do afterwards, run multibeast, with your common settings + new card settings, and then turn off computer, plug in card, and cross fingers.



you shouldnt have any serious problems btw
