Replace motherboard for Thunderbolt compatibility

My thunderbolt ports have stopped working for some reason. Have you come across this? I checked on two different devices, different cables and both ports.

Unfortunately that’s not descriptive enough.

• Which version of BIOS?
• What are the make/model numbers of devices you’re plugging into those TB3 ports?
• Which version of macOS?
• What troubleshooting steps have you taken?
• Were the ports working properly with the same devices as in bullet 2, but suddenly they stopped working? Did anything change?
• Have you tried cold boot, CMOS Reset? Have you checked BIOS -> Thunderbolt to see if the settings are correct?

BIOS F21
MAC 10.15.7
UAD APOLLO 8XP
TB config seems correct. I attached a screenshot.
Port was working yesterday. Not today and I cold booted a few times. I left it alone , plugged everything out and booted again and it's working now.
Any ideas why that would be?

I have more info on this. I need to start the computer twice. First time it doesn't see the Apollo. I have to shut down and unplug the mains and restart. Then it works. Seems to be the same pattern everytime. Any ideas ?
