Hello!
I need some testers to use my new Application called "RepairPermissions".
You can download and check it out at
http://www.electrotechproductions.wordpress.com
or
Your can download it here:
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?r4ssdi40e8eqjes

The application does basically the same thing as going into disk utility and repairing disk permissions, but it is much much easier to use, and is an all in one utility. Just click OK, type in your admin password, and you will have your disk's permissions successfully repaired.
Note: The User Agreement Policy is bundled in the ZIP file, I do recommend going over it before using the application.
Thats all, please post some feedback on what you think!

If I am not abiding by the board's rules in any way, I do not mean to. I have went over the rules and do not see anything wrong with asking for users to test out my application.
Thanks TonyMac for providing a place for all of us Hackintosh Users to Unite!

so exactly like ticking system utilities in multibeast then

its an application to run a script for sudo diskutil repairPermissions /

if youre getting into making applications, its great. does what it says on the tin, but other than that i dont see the need for testers

I agree, their is really no reason at all that the application shouldn't work. It is just a shell command as you said. Still, I need some opinions, thanks for providing yours!

i think the pop up at the start and end wasnt needed.
maybe get rid of the start one, and have the end one only?

Mainly the messages are just their to A- Notify the User that there is a User Agreement Policy and B- Notify the user that the task of repairing the permissions is done. I do agree though, I hate opening an app to a pop up window telling me stuff that I don't care for, and I will definitely consider taking it out after the trial phase. I will edit out some time and see how it works. Thanks for the feedback!

I opened it up; but I had the same error message: Framework can't communicate with DiskUtility Manager. Frustrating; can't seem to figure it out.

What OS are you running, and what are your system specs?
