I'm tired of it flooding my kernel log.

Also, what are the W836x/F718x, does that have to do with FakeSMC?

My board is the Asus P8Z68 Deluxe, only thing i have installed from MultiBeast is Chimera and FakeSMC/FakeSMC Plugins which I installed for iStat menus

Thanks

Bump...
Really no one has a solution for this...?
I can't be the only person with this kernel message

i have the same problem... but no solution as well

how bout removing NVClockX.kext from /S/L/E ?

I also have this problem and have a MSI 6870 twin frozr ii i dont know why we would need that kext. im running 10.7.2 other specs on my signature.

Can you post the contents of the file(s), so that we might be able to tell what parts the OS can't seem to live without? It might help someone advise you correctly--but would be educational for others, at the very least.

Thanks for the reply! Well the contents of which file?

Hmmm... I thought I read someplace in the forum here where there is an editable portion of the kext file? I might not be remembering that correctly, as I've read so much information on this site in the past few weeks. I'll look around a bit more and investigate the contents of the directory for each kext, but I thought someone was talking about being able to edit something in there.

TB

EDIT: In the Contents directory, inside the kext directory, there are two XML files. One is version.plist, and the other is Info.plist. Both of these are editable, with the correct privileges, however I am not at all certain if that will help your situation. But I was hoping that one of the more experienced forum members would be able to shed some light on the issue, so that the rest of us might learn something.

The NVClockX kext was updated a couple of days ago might want to try the new version. I cant speak for it as I am on AMD

Are you using kernelcache=yes? Would help to make this less annoying if boot time is what is bothering you.

Exactly! I have a msi 6870 that works oob but idk why that kext is installed! Does it get automatically installed by multibeast? everytime i boot -v it always shows

NVClockX No Nvidia Cards found

and it makes my boot time slower :banghead:
