Hi
I'm wondering oif this line:
"Remove any hard drives besides the blank drive being used for OS X."
incudes internal drives too, and if so why?

I can get in there and physically disconnect sata connectors if I have to (I already have to open the machine up to remove RAM down to 4GB), but I'm just curious why this is necessary - because if if it's just a foolproofing step to make sure people don't install OSX on top of another drive by mistake, I'll skip it)

It's not a precaution. OSX installation will mess other bootloaders in other drives. If you have other OSes, my advices is to disconnect those drives and then reconnect them afterwards and make the boot selection through bios.

thanks! Like I said I'll have to get in there to remove some RAM anyway, so I'll pull the drive power supplies too.
