Brightness keys are covered in the guide linked by the FAQ.
Same goes for sleep (requires proper ACPI patching).
See FAQ.

I have read that before. My brightness keys are working now and my question is how to reduce 64 levels to 16 levels. I cannot find the way in the post. As you know, 64 levels is disgusting.

I don't think you implemented your keys correctly...
Are you not seeing the "brightness sun" (native macOS on screen display for brightness keys)?

Yes, I does see the brightness sun displayed on screen.

64 levels are normal.
16 major levels accessed with the brightness keys.
All levels accessed with Option+brightness keys.
