Well about to buy a custom build for Mac Mini sans Gigabyte MOBO. Here's what I got so far:

Case: Silverstone Sugo SG05BB- 450Watts
CPU: Intel i5 2500k
RAM: CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory
SSD: Corsair Force Series 3 CSSD-F120GB3A-BK 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Now, on to the MOBO, the one thing that has kept me from buying the build. I have the following choices:

Intel BOXDH67CFB3 LGA 1155 Intel H67 $120
Foxconn H67S LGA 1155 Intel H67 $60
ASRock H67M-ITX/HT LGA 1155 Intel H67 $120
ZOTAC H67ITX-C-E LGA 1155 Intel H67 $140
ASRock H67M-ITX LGA 1155 Intel H67 $90

I'm leaning toward the ASRock for $90 or the Foxconn for $60. Any thoughts?

As for the case, I love the small form factor of the Apex or other small m-ITX boards. Yet, I thought the 250W were not enough for the build, nor the space available, so I picked the Silverstone. Am I wrong in my assumption?

Thanks all, you've been great help throughout this process.

Only Gigabyte.

The Gigabyte board recommended by tonymac has been discontinued. The only other option is the H61 and I would really like to have SATA 6GBs with the H67. That's why I didn't post any Gigabyte mobo.

Then... it come to my mind. The Asus P8H67-I Deluxe. toleda got this board, and I think for him it works.

Only thing I don't like about the Asus is that it uses Laptop memory. What do you think?

Well just wanted to know if anyone had any success with all those boards.

Hi, guys!
I found another cheaper itx board : AsRock H61M-ITX (http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=H61M-ITX
http://www.itbankeurope.com/H61M-ITX_/)

This itx board provide : VGA + DVI + HDMI + USB2.0 + USB3.0 + eSATA + ALC887 codec + RTL8111E gigabyte LAN

Note: make sure the BIOS version was newer than 1.10 (http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?M ... ITX&o=BIOS)

Build spec:
i3-2105 + H61M-ITX + Kingston 4GB-DDR3 1333 + ST320LT020 (320GB) + E-Q6 iMini case (http://latest.mistertao.com/taobao-prod ... 08987.html)

I made a Lion 10.7.2 setup Flash stick with uniBeast and successfully installed on this custom mac mini, and make intel HD3000 fully worked with QE/CI by MultiBeast 4.2.1!
The RTL8111E gigabyte LAN was drived by Realtek official driver, and alc887 audio codec drived by VoodooHDA 2.7.3, everything works except SLEEP. I'm trying to modify DSDT and AppleHDA to make ALC887, still debugging

Hey sincerelysw - I'm unable to get a mini itx Gigabyte board with more than 2xSATA (they're all out of stock) and I'm interested in the AsRock H61M-ITX thanks to your post :)

I have a couple of questions though - Did you manage to get HDMI audio working? And did you resolve the sleep issue?

I just completed the same unibeast install on my asrock h-67M-ITX! I just wanted a SFF system and the whole hackintosh thing came to me as an afterthought. Mine is core i3 2105 w 8gb Mushkin Blackline DDR3. Surprisingly everything works great with no DSDTs! Like you mentioned, the only things that dont work are wake from sleep and HDMI audio. I disabled sleep so i dont really care, however it would be nice to get audio over the HDMI. Anyone had success on this? Do we absolutely NEED a DSDT for our board if the intel HD3000 and onboard realtek audio is working properly? I read the HDMI audio on lion for HD3000 thread and it seems pretty involved and requires a DSDT for the board.
