Reboot loop while direct update to High Sierra from Sierra

Hello all - I'm in the process of trying to do a direct update to High Sierra from Sierra. I'm getting stuck in a reboot loop right now, and can't seem to solve it. Here's the last bit of detail I see before it restarts each time.
