Hi guys, Noob here. Have a Gateway DX-4850 on which I have successfully loaded 10.7.2 using UniBeast/MultiBeast. Have everything working except built-in audio. My Windows profiler tells me it's the Realtek ALC662 (Intel HD Audio). I've tried the various Realtek drivers from MultiBeast without success. After removing those drivers and loading Voodoo drivers, system encounters Kernel Panic every time.
Right now I have a USB sound dongle which is OK, but not very elegant. Any ideas on how I can get the ALC662 working with Lion?
Other details:
Gateway Motherboard h67 chipset
Core i7-2600
8MB Memory
Nvidia GT 420 1GB PCI-E card (beautiful at full resolution 2560 x 1440)
Built-in Intel Gigabit Ethernet working with MultiBeast driver
Built-in Ralink WiFi not working (don't really care as I am using ethernet)
Appreciate any and all help. Thanks again.
