I have just changed some of the components in my hack, and now it is really slow to start and login.

I have installed Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H rev 1.1, Nvidia GT210 Graphics Card,16gb Corsair Vengenace Ram, core I3 2120, OCZ Agility 4 128gb drive, and also three 1td standard drives.

I have connected the SSD drive to the sata 3 port, installed osx 10.8.3, and now it boots and logs in slower than my standard drive used to.

It takes about a 2 minutes to get to the desktop, and then about a further minute before I can actually do anything.

I am using a wired mac keyboard, and usb mouse at the moment.

I used the multibeast options form this post http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...ds3h-version-1-1-i5-3570k-ivy-bridge-8gb.html to get up and running.

Any one have any suggestions, as to what may be causing this ?

make sure osx hdd is on sata port0 and have ioahcisata kext installed.or third party

Okay, got the console log form when the login process is started, until I can actually use the machine,
does not mean a lot to me, but hopefully someone more knowledgeable may spot something.......

have you done this

Key is to disable the Onboard VGA check on the MB. See the screen shot. It went from 1:15-1:30 boot time to 15 seconds! I am now a happy camper, OC'd at 4.0 (4.4 after I get water cooler, getting a Thermaltake WATER2.0 Performer) just fine, getting 14,500 on Geekbench

Don't have a solution but think it is the NVidia 210. I have just changed my card from ATI HD3600 to NV 210 , had to resinstall (but seemed to repair the system rather than over write) but the system is so slow to boot and even after login screen comes up ages before the cursor appears. Eventually works OK.

OSX 10.8.0 Dell Inspiron 530 CoreDuo 2 RAM 3GB

Will try changing graphics card, and see if that helps, but at the moment, I gave up on ML and went back to Lion, booting up now in just under 10 seconds with the same hardware.
