As I was waiting for a Z77 motherboard from Gigabyte in order to build a new computer, I asked them in order to know if they are releasing a motherboard in mini-itx size.

Question : Hello gigabyte,

I am searching for a Z77 mini-itx motherboard to buy. As my favorite motherboard brand is gigabyte, I was wondering if in the near future we will have Z77 mini-itx board from gigabyte in the market.

Thank you very much,

E.

Dear Customer,

We will not have a Z77 based mini-ITX model. However, we will have a mini-ITX H77 model this fall.

Thank you for choosing Gigabyte products

The other brands have the MSR locked, so is not the way to go...
It is pretty sad. I was not expecting that :(.

At least it will be cheap. It is a good news for me. :headbang:

I contacted directly to gigabyte, not from a random place or forum.

By the way, can someone explain to me what is the meaning of "MSR locked"? because I read several times, and I don't know what is the meaning...

Are you saying that I am lying?

If I contacted apple a month before WWDC do you you think they would have told me what products would be coming out?

I would believe that. Gigabyte doesn't have a Z68 ITX motherboard either, and I don't expect them to have a Z77 ITX motherboard. However, I would believe that they are going to have a H77 ITX since there was a H67 ITX.
