Ready to go, need a bit of clarification

Ok, i know this is going to be a stupid question, but im going to ask anyway.

Ive decided on my final build:
GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
i2500k
8 GB Corsair Ram
XFX Radion 6850
550W Power supply....pretty standard build, im going out to buy my parts next weekend.

Now my dumb question is, will I have to install SL 10.6.8 before I go to lion or can I just go straight to lion after i put my rig together? I was going to use Life Hackers Always up to date tutorial in conjunction with Gordos golden build tutorial. If someone could clarify that would be great. Thanks Guys!

You should be able to go straight to LION. This assumes that you can (or have) purchased Lion from the App Store and can make a UniBeast stick with you MacBook Pro.
