to start off let me say im quiet new to this so bear withme.

In the summer i decided to build myself a computer once igot all the parts and put it all together and i installed windows on it and itwas all working i decided, hey why not try putting osx on it. So i did somelooking around and decided that unibeast seemed like the way to go. i bought asecond ssd and installed osx on it and did the multibeast and everything seemedto be working perfectly except for audio which i wasn’t too worried aboutbecause i was just playing around with it anyways. but then all of a sudden, maybe three weeks later it wont boot into osx anymore and it just hangs at theapple logo with the spinning wheel

now im not sure what to do

my specs are

gigabyte g1 sniper 3
intell i5 3570k
zotac 660 ti amp

any help would be greatly appreciated

open console.app and read error messages

my telepathic capabilities are limited

thank you for the reply i was starting to become woried that no one was answering

i booted with -v and alot off text came up and im not sure how to copy it so i wrote some of it out by hand that i thought looked important :p

hfs_mountfs: encountered failure 22
hfs_mountroot: hfs_mountfs returned 22, rvp (0xffffff8011dccf00) name (unknown device)
cannot mount root, errno = 19

how did you format your boot disk ?

look into info for "Mac OS Extended ( Journaled)"
the boot disk must be formated like this.

if it is, try disk utility for errors.

thank you for the raply
sory it took so long for me to answer
i had lost my usb with unibeast on it and had to make a new one:thumbdown:
i have the boot disc as Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
and i tried to do a disc repair but it said it didnt find any problems
maybe i should just reinstall

i still have the same problem it wont boot into the os

i guess i see where your problem is,

you are double booting, win and osx,
separate this 2 installs, in switching at bios level, the boot disks

or

look for double system booting help
( as i dont do this, cant help you)
