Randomly stuck on "Loading Operating System..."

I have had great luck with my Hackintosh for about a year and just now I rebooted and find myself at the dreaded "Loading Operating System...." screen. I'm not sure what to do at this point. The only thing I can think of that has changed in the last few days is the Java update that I installed from Apple. But I reboot every few days and all has been fine.

If anyone can steer me in the right direction I would be so appreciative.

Gigabyte Z68XP-UD5
CPUIntel Core i7-2700K
GraphicsGIGABYTE ATI Radeon HD6870

It is something wrong in your hdd/sdd. Go to bios and check if the boot drive is on first boot priority..

Thank you!!! I feel like such a turd. I cloned my hard drive which is also connected and I guess it was trying to boot off of that instead. Such a relief!!
