RAM recommendation

Hi

I currently have this RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-12800 (1600MHz) DDR3 Dual Channel RAM in my existing system with an i5 2500k. Looking to keep the CPU and upgrade the m/b to a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H.

Am I ok to continue with this ram and add in an additional 8gb of the same or should I look at getting a different lot of 16gb?
