I've noticed something that i feel is kinda odd.
But it seems like there is something that caps the performance on non Apple cards that should perform the same
For example if we look at Geekbench Metal scores
AMD Radeon VII gets 54814 points
VS
AMD Radeon Pro VII gets 94556 points
and
AMD Radeon Pro II gets 97701 points
The Radeon Pro II should get a few percent higher score since it got 64CU instead of Radeon VII 60CU. but what is this discrepancy between Radeon VII and Radeon Pro VII
We got the same with 14nm Vega:
Vega 64 53007 points
VS
Vega Pro 64 64118 points
Vega 56 51159 points
VS
Vega Pro 56 61485 points
Also looking at Navi:
AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 44038 points
VS
AMD Radeon Pro 5700XT 74805 points
All those cards should have more or less the same score but they do not.
So is there a way to trick osx to think it's the official apple version to get extra performance?
