Radeon HD 7770 - Still no go

Hey all, I have an MSI Radeon 7770 1GB GHz Edition, running 10.8.3 on a GA-Z77-DS3H. I have scoured the forum and google for a working solution, but have yet to find one. I do have two monitors (one HDMI and the other DVI), and I do have a MBR formatted Chimera).

Without making any changes, I get the boot0 error with tons of ASCI text when I boot into Mac with the 7770 plugged in and a DVI. If I set IGFX to default and disable the Internal Graphics, my motherboard will not remember this setting and switches the "IGFX" to "Auto".

I need help, this is rather frustrating ....

exactlly the same problem, with a 7850

its impossible to boot it seems, there is one guide which i will try tonight, which is stick a 5770 or similar into system, boot using that can connect the monitors, the only problem i have with this is, selecting the drive to boot to

Would a 6450 work to boot with? I mean, I have to put boot flags specific to the 6450 in the bootloader, so how could that work?
