To start off, this is my first hackintosh.. and I'm coming from a windows machine.

My build is

i5 3570k
Asrock Z77 Extremepro4
Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5
2 x 4gb Sticks of Ram

I already dealt with an Asrock board issue not seeing the Clover UEFI, by using Linux Mint
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-asrock-uefi-boot-fix.174726/ ( If you're curious )

I'm having issues understanding everything to get it to set up with graphics card.

I tried following
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-getting-r9-290-390-non-x-to-work-on-sierra-10-12.210574/

I'm trying to use the texteditor since I'm not familiar with Clover Configurator.

How do I "ENABLE InjectATI" If I searched my config.plist I found "Inject" but no "INJECTATI"
... and the FBname argument next?

I apologize, just very confused... after I get this far I assume I'll be asking more help for other parts of the process.

I found an easier way to get the R9 290 working on 10.12.5.

I was able to test it with a Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 4GB and also an XFX DD R9 290 4GB card. Both worked exactly the same way.

Essentially, use Clover Configurator, make sure to mount the EFI on your Hackintosh drive first or it won't see it the config.plist (the option is there on the lower left in CC itself). Afterwards, I usually close CC and reopen it. You should see the config.plist path listed at the bottom now. The one with the shortest path should be the one you're looking for. Then follow my post. If you're running an out of date Clover you can have CC update it to (option is there on the lower left also). The fix won't work if you're not using version 4114.

If you already did any of the edits at the start of the thread it won't work so you'll have to do a fresh install.
