Greetings,

I am upgrading my previous hack to the following...

OSX Ventura 13.5
OpenCore 0.9.4
Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Elite AC
Intel Core i9-10850K
XFX Radeon RX580

Everything has gone relatively fine until I hit the Ethernet wall.
No internet. No WIFI. No Bluetooth.
I did some searching and reading and tried some of the suggested remedies.
After a few failed attempts, I decided that I wanted to see if a cheap USB - Ethernet adapter would be a suitable solution.
It worked, or at least I could get ethernet internet access.

However, I could not log into my Apple ID.
I keep getting this message... "Could Not Communicate With The Server."

I've been racking my brain with this and wondering, could this possibly be a problem caused by a misstep in the SMBIOS and Serial Number?
Should I start all over again and redo the EFI?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Not a User Build - Moved to Desktop Support.

Please amend your profile so that it accurately reflects your hardware.

Your Ethernet adapter should be identified as en0 and 'BuiltIn' in order to smoothly interact with Apple services.

Many thanks for the swift response.

In System Information -
Under BSD Device Name - I have en0, but not both en0 & BuiltIn

Will I find the correct instructions to remedy this in OpenCore Post-Install/Fixing iServices/Fixing en0?

Many thanks.
