QE/CI question

should QE/CI still cause the ripple effect when adding widgets in Lion? if so, then i lost QE/CI in my update: widgets appear with no real animation.

QE/CI worked throughout 10.6 for me. any thoughts on what's the matter? i tried a fresh User DSDT run through multibeast to no avail. as you can see in my signature, i'm using a GA-P55M-UD2 mobo with a 250GTS graphics card.

i figured it out. in case anyone else is confused, dashboard doesn't do the ripple effect if it's enabled as a space. if you go into mission control settings and disable dashboard as a space, then access dashboard as you would prior to lion and add a widget, i get the ripple effect once again. so basically, the ripple effect only occurs if you access dashboard as an overlay and not its own space.

so yeah, all is fine with QE/CI on my machine. nothing to see here, keep moving along…
