I'm currently in the process of modding my first powermac g5 to a hackintosh now i will be rebuimding the original powersupply and fitting it with an atx supply now my question is will the corsair rm750 fit or what are your experiences with modding a g5 powersupply?

If I understood correctly what you are about to do, there's a tutorial by G5 modders how to fit atx-psu into G5 psu case. Looks relatively easy, but you'll have to do some soldering.

If you are planning to use the original g5 psu, could you please clarify.

No i was going to re use the original casing of the powermac psu, and insert an atx supply the only thing on my mind is
what psu i would use that is a 100% garantied fit wh stripped and is modular!

The tutorial I linked says:
When choosing a power supply for the first two methods, just make sure that it uses a standard width fan on top, so that the internals are low enough to be put in the G5 case.

So basicly any standard atx psu will be fine. I'd choose suitable from the buyer's guide.
