Update on my side - there's still a snag with the DSDT on the ASUS, but it's almost there. I'm finishing mixes for an indie album this week, then I'll have time to get back at it.
If you want a stable system - don't use DSDT's downloaded from this site.
Use this instead: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index. ... pic=235523

Hi,
not really sure if my system is sandy bridge, but Pro Tools HD2 (PCIx) 9.0.3 is running smooth on our fresh build system with an ASUS P7P55D motherboard and OS X 10.6.7.
But we have massive trouble with a decklink studio card on this system, so I'd like to ask if anyone has a working decklink card on an ASUS P7P55D?

best regards

Nope, it's not, it's Nehalem.

GIGABYTE
GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3
GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3
...
or there is someting wrong with this cards I haven't considered?

Is there a DSDT for the GA-Q67M-D2H-B3?

I read on the Avid forum of a user having success with this build for PTHD3, 9.02

HD core - pci slot 5 ( furthest from CPU)
HD process - pci slot 4
HD process - pci slot 3

Asus P8BC4L MOBO

Xeon e3-1245 processor

Windows 7 pro 64bit (no OSX mentioned however)

Pro tools 9.0.2

Can anyone confirm this for a Hack?

Yes, thanks, I've been following your posts around the net and found it last night. I've had an HD3 system on a GA-H55-USB3 for 10 months now, but looking for a Sandy Bridge solution. So far the GA-Q67M-D2H-B3 is it. If Gigabyte only had the GA-P65A-UD3 working, that could have been the ONE for HD3.

Yes, it is possible.
Intel® C202 Chipset has legacy PCI.
But if you look here CPU doesn't seem to be very powerful.
The problem is put Mac on that board!
